Step straight from the woods into your own forest house and leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind. Surrounded by nature, you’ll find yourself in an oasis of peace—far from the crowds of large parks, yet still close to popular tourist attractions. Sunlight pours in through the large windows, offering views of the Veluwe forest from every angle, keeping you constantly connected to nature.

Pets are welcome, but please note: the garden is not fenced.

A Living Room Surrounded by the Forests of the Veluwe

The spacious living room offers plenty of space to relax. The modern seating area, featuring a comfortable three-seater sofa and a separate armchair, invites you to enjoy cozy moments together. The dining area with four chairs is perfect for a family dinner or a fun board game.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: a wide grey-green kitchen unit with a 3-meter countertop, dishwasher, oven/microwave combination, and an induction cooktop with extractor. Everything you need to prepare a delicious meal!

Two Cozy Bedrooms

The first bedroom is a peaceful retreat. The double box spring bed guarantees a wonderful night’s sleep, and the large window offers a morning view of squirrels playfully darting through the forest.

The second bedroom features two separate box spring beds, which can be used either as twin beds or combined into a double. Both bedrooms offer plenty of storage space and room for a crib.

The modern bathroom is located right next to the bedrooms. A refreshing rain shower offers the perfect start to your day. After an active day in nature, this is the ideal place to unwind.

A Lovely Terrace in Nature

The spacious terrace, with a table and four chairs, provides the perfect setting for breakfast in the morning sun or a cozy dinner as the sun sets. Thanks to its location in the forest, the terrace offers complete privacy, immersing you in nature.

Various nooks and corners ensure you can always find a sunny spot. The large sliding doors create a seamless connection between the living room and the terrace, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors in every season.

A Sustainable Getaway

Originally built in 1948, the forest house was completely renovated in 2025 to offer a modern holiday experience with a focus on sustainability. It beautifully combines the charming character of a historic home with the luxury of contemporary amenities.

The thorough renovation expanded the living spaces, refreshed the interior, and placed comfort and environmental consciousness at the heart of the design. Sustainability was a key priority throughout the process.

The home is now equipped with underfloor heating, ensuring a pleasant temperature—even on the coldest days. An advanced heat recovery ventilation system provides a constant flow of fresh air without wasting energy or warmth. Thanks to this smart technology, you’ll always enjoy a fresh, comfortable environment without having to worry about energy use.

Just two steps over the threshold and you’re in the forest. Within minutes, you can walk to the Zandingsheide or the nearby village.

In the period marked with # a 10% discount applies on the weekly rate for families with children up to 4 years old and senior citizens (60 and older). It does not apply to the midweek or weekends. Prices do not include tourist tax (€1,19 per person per night). Between 1 November 2022 and 1 April 2023 we will charge gas usage. You can state extra wishes when making reservations. Weeks run from Friday to Friday. However, by mutual agreement we could arrange different periods at times.
