Petting Zoo

As a guest at De Roek, you can visit the petting zoo whenever you like. Especially for young children, our petting zoo is a fun activity during your stay at our vacation park. The animals are fed at fixed times every day, and park guests are welcome to help. You can feed pigs, chickens, or rabbits, cuddle with guinea pigs, or brush the horse. After feeding, you can even take a ride on the back of our Tinker horse “Neil.”

Inside the stable, children can enjoy interacting with the animals in our cuddle corner.

In addition to the petting zoo, we also have a fantastic playground at De Roek, complete with an adventurous water area that flows into a sandbox. On sunny days, this becomes a true attraction for children, and they can spend hours having fun here. We also have a bird’s nest swing, a seesaw, and a slide.

Since cars are not allowed on our park, children often have the opportunity to go to the petting zoo or the playground on their own. Our experience shows that once they’ve made friends on our park and know their way around, you won’t need to worry about them anymore.
