A holiday or weekend away is of course only complete if your favorite friend can come along. Especially if you are in the beautiful forests and natural surroundings of the Veluwe. Then there is nothing better than taking a nice long walk with your dog. At De Roek you can simply go on holiday with your dog in our bungalows where pets are welcome.
Privacy, peace and space: at De Roek you really have your own place in the Veluwe woods. Ideal if you want to take your dog on holiday. Your pet can lose its energy by running around in the enclosed garden. Would you like a day trip? Then ask about our exhaust service. This way you both have plenty of time to enjoy!

In which cottages are pets allowed?
In the forest houses Meijerij (6 pers.) and Squirrel (6 pers.) and the Finnish bungalows Nightingale (6 pers.), Skylark (6 pers.), Turtledove (4 to 6 pers.) and Jay (4 pers.) pets welcome. 1 pet is allowed in the Jay and a maximum of 2 pets are allowed in the Meijerij, Squirrel, Nightingale, skylark, Turtle Dove. All these bungalows have an enclosed garden with a fence. The fence of these gardens consists of a 1 meter high fence, so that your dog can’t run away.
Active Dogvacation
During your stay you can enjoy a lot of activities together. Take a lot of wonderful walks together in the beautiful nature of De Veluwe and discover all the beauty in the vicinity of the forest houses. You can check the website Visit Veluwe for some cool ideas. Do you want to let your dog run free? That is also possible! There are several off-leash areas nearby.

Would you like to go out having fun with your partner and/or children? You can’t take your dog everywhere, but that shouldn’t be a problem. We will walk your dog for you! Ask about the possibilities for this service at our reception.

During your stay at De Roek you can also attend various activities, such as and horseback riding. Ideal if you have children: especially the petting zoo is often a favorite. Here they can pet the guinea pigs and rabbits and laugh at our funny kune kune pigs. Also, if you are going to participate in one of our activities, you can use the dog walking service.
In short: vacationing with the dog don’t have to be a limitation! There’s plenty to do at De Roek and in the area.
